Schneider Electric’s Digital Catalog Transformation with Spryker

Schneider Electric faced challenges with its outdated digital catalog system, built in 2016. The system was complex and not scalable, and it required modernization to handle hundreds of thousands of SKUs, multiple languages, and millions of monthly visits.
Schneider Electric partnered with Spryker to replace the old system with a new, API-driven, headless, and scalable product experience management system. This new system detaches the backend from the front end, ensuring a seamless user experience across all platforms and devices.
In December, Schneider Electric concluded the migration of their entire web traffic for the main application, se.com. This project involved hundreds of contributors within Schneider Electric and was supported by integrator Nagarro. The whole solution was built on top of AWS infrastructure.
Schneider Electric plans to expand the use of its new digital catalog to mobile and WhatsApp applications, allowing for conversational searches and enhanced customer engagement. It will continue to focus on simplifying, digitizing, and growing its digital presence using the composable architecture provided by Spryker.
